The Living Space
The Edison features a luxury experience that comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests featuring one king bed, three queens, one queen/twin bunk bed with trundle (sleeps 4), and a bunk room with four twin bunk beds suitable for 8 guests. The fully equipped kitchen features essential appliances such as an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and small appliances including a Keurig, blender, and toaster. The Edison offers an ideal space for hosting gatherings with its large dining space accommodating all 20 guests.
Along with comfortable dining space, The Edison offers a unique theatre room, the perfect spot to watch your favorite teams, binge watch your favorite series or a place for the kids to escape for a movie night. Around every corner you will see elevated modern décor, an electric fireplace for chilly evenings, multiple TVs in living spaces as well as within bedroom spaces.
The 2nd floor boasts a spacious loft area as an additional living space to enjoy the best view The Edison has to offer along with the perfect space for movie and game nights.
For added convenience, there is an attached pool room allowing guests to watch over children comfortably while they enjoy the pool.

The Edison sits alongside one end of the 4-acre lake featuring a very spacious beach area and massive floating dock, providing a tranquil retreat. The enclosed pool and hot tub offer enjoyment during cooler months and retract for a sun-drenched lounge in warmer seasons. The patio features a Blackstone grill, a gas grill, comfortable seating, and a dining space leading to your private beach.
A fireside seating area adds charm for s’mores and cozy nights. Private access to Bell Bottom Retreat Hiking Trails highlighting a suspension bridge, creeks, and wooded areas offers a serene escape from the sun and room for ample exploration.
Additional features include a hanging day bed, outdoor yard games and ample parking, creating a perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor recreation.

Booking Age Requirement
The booking age requirement for Bell Bottom Retreat is 30. Valid ID is required upon check-in.
Event Type Restrictions
We do not rent our facilities for after-prom, high school graduation parties, college formal parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, fraternity/sorority parties, or similar events. All events are subject to approval by management prior to confirmation of a reservation. If an above-listed event is found to be taking place, guests will be asked to leave the rental, will not receive a refund, and may incur additional cleaning/damage fees.
Additional Guests or Visitors
We do not allow ANY visitors without management approval. Only registered guests for your stay will be given access to the property. Others will be turned away. No exceptions. If unapproved visitors are found on-site, guests will be asked to leave the rental, will not receive a refund, and may incur additional cleaning/damage fees.
Travel Insurance
We encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover yourself as a traveler if you want additional coverage outside of our cancellation policies.
Security Deposit
In addition to the rental fees, a $1000.00 security deposit is required for all reservations. We require the security deposit 14 days prior to your check-in date. Deposits are usually refunded within 5-7 business days after your departure, conditional upon the accommodation being returned in the same condition as it was given to you.
Rate Exclusions
The nightly rate does not include Ohio Sales Tax of 7.25%, or ReservationsOnline.com service fee of 6%. All will be applied at the time of booking.

Payment
Advance payment of at least 50% of your stay is required at the time of reservation. Any balance, including the security deposit, is due no less than 30 days prior to your stay. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted. Personal checks or bank checks are the only forms of payment accepted for the security deposit. Extra charges apply for heating of the swimming pool. Quoted prices are subject to change due to changing gas prices – please check in closer to your stay for details.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations that are cancelled less than 60 days after booking will receive a refund of the prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid), less a cancellation fee of $300*. Cancellations outside of 60 days but more than 60 days prior to your stay will receive a 50% refund of the prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid).
Our policy does not allow refunds for cancellations less than 60 days prior to your stay, however, we will consider these rare events on a case-by-case basis to determine if there is anything we can do to mitigate a loss for both parties. In the event of an early departure, we cannot give any kind of refund. There are no cancellations due to inclement weather. We do have a large whole house generator that automatically kicks on. There are no exceptions for medical emergencies or weather conditions. Travel insurance is recommended. Changes to the arrival or departure date are subject to our cancellation policy and/or a $125 change fee. We may cancel this reservation at any time by returning your prepaid amount.
Check-In
Check-In is between 4:00PM – 6:00PM at the rental where you will be greeted by a member of our team.
Check-Out
Check-Out is by 11:00AM. Late check-out will incur a $100/hour fee. The rental should be left in the condition it was found, including dishes washed and trash bagged in the proper receptacles. Housekeeping and maintenance staff will arrive promptly at 11:00AM to begin the cleaning process and any repairs necessary.
Damages
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon check-in, please let us know right away.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT ALLOWED inside and within 25 feet outside of the rentals. Discovery of smoking inside will result in immediate cancellation, guest removal, and additional cleaning and damage fees.
Pets
Pets are NOT ALLOWED. Discovery of a pet inside will result in immediate cancellation, guest removal, and additional cleaning and damage fees.
Occupancy Numbers
The maximum number of occupants is listed on each specific rental page. More than the maximum number of occupants present will result in cancellation, guest removal, and additional cleaning and damage fees.
Children
As a family-oriented retreat, children are welcome. Children under 12 years old must be supervised at all times.
Minimum Stay Requirement
There is a 2-night minimum stay requirement and a 3-nights for all major holidays. Reservations that create a one-night gap in our availability will not be accepted as we are unable to require one night stays.
Pool & Hot Tub
The pool enclosures are NOT to be operated by anyone other than Bell Bottom retreat staff.
Furniture
At no time may furniture be moved inside or outside the rentals. We expect rentals to be left the way you found them. Glassware is NOT ALLOWED outside.
Firewood
Guests can purchase pre-packaged bundles from local groceries, gas stations, and roadside vendors. Cutting down trees or branches at Bell Bottom Retreat is NOT ALLOWED.
Gas Grill
Each rental has a gas grill. Propane tanks are stocked based on the number of maximum occupants at the specific rental. However, if you need more, you can request another tank for a small fee.
Recreational Vehicles
ATVs, UTVs, side by sides, motorbikes, or similar motorized recreation vehicles are NOT ALLOWED at Bell Bottom Retreat. Discovery of these vehicles will result in cancellation, guest removal, and additional damage fees.
Weather Conditions
Winter snow in Southern Ohio can bring driving risks. Especially in the hills where there are steep driveways. We recommend you plan ahead and have 4-wheel drive capabilities if the weather deteriorates.
Water Activities, Trails, Bridges
Bell Bottom Retreat has lakes, ponds, creeks, pools and hot tubs, trails, and bridges for our guests to enjoy. However, these enhancements can have potential risk associated with them. The water enhancements are all swim at your own risk, and we require children under the age of 18 to be supervised at all times. The trails and bridges are maintained but they are in natural settings where we cannot control the effects of falling trees or other natural occurrences that cause damage and risk. We are not responsible for any negative outcomes that may arise from participation in these enhancements.
By agreeing to these policies, guests understand and accept the terms and conditions outlined for their stay at Bell Bottom Retreat.
